x2 + 3x + 1 = (x − 2)2

Answer :

Given; x2 + 3x + 1 = (x − 2)2

x2 + 3x + 1 = x2 − 4x + 4


x2 + 3x + 1 − x2 − 4x − 4 = 0


−x − 3 = 0


The highest power of x in the equation is 1;


It is not a quadratic equation.
