To prove:

AB = AB (Common)

AC = AD (Given)

CAB = DAB (AB is bisector)

Therefore,

(SAS) Definition: Triangles are congruent if any pair of corresponding sides and their included angles are equal in both triangles.

By SAS congruence,

Hence, Proved.

BC and BD are of equal length by C.P.C.T.
