We have
Here, we are given with
CD = 15 cm
BD = 8 cm
We need to find BC.
So, by Pythagoras theorem that says
(Hypotenuse)2 = (Perpendicular)2 + (Base)2
⇒ BC2 = 82 + 152
⇒ BC2 = 64 + 225
⇒ BC2= 289
⇒ BC = √289
⇒ BC = 17
Thus, the length of diagonal is 17 cm.
