Step 2: Find the largest number whose square is less than or equal to the first pair or single digit from left. Step 3: Subtract the resulted value 16 from the given number

Step 4 : Bring down the second pair 04 to the right of the remainder Step 5: double the quotient 4 + 4 = 8 Step 6: Guess the possible value such that the product is equal to or less than new dividend Hence, the square root of 2304 is 48
