# Using the definition of similarity prove that all the isosceles right angled triangles are similar.

Answer :

Prove that all the isosceles right angled triangles are similar

According to these figures,

In ∆ABC, AB = BC and mB = 90

In ∆XYZ, XY = YZ and mY = 90 i.e. ∆ABC and ∆XYZ are isosceles right angled triangles.

To prove: ∆ABC and ∆XYZ are similar triangles.

Proof: ∆ABC and ∆XYZ are both isosceles right angled triangles in which mB = mY = 90

Also AB = BC and XY = YZ, then
