Q. 7
Lengths of sides of a triangle are 3 cm, 4 cm and 5 cm. The triangle is
A. Obtuse angled triangle
B. Acute-angled triangle
C. Right-angled triangle
D. An Isosceles right triangle
Answer :
Given: Lengths of sides of a triangle are 3 cm, 4 cm and 5 cm
Formula Used/Theory:-
Pythagoras theorem:-
Base2 + Height2 = Hypotenuse2
As Lengths of sides of a triangle are 3 cm, 4 cm and 5 cm
Squaring all sides
9,16,25
⇒ 9 + 16 = 25
Which is equal to square of 3rd side
∴ Pythagoras theorem get proved
Hence;
It is a right angled triangle
