# If 1A2B5 is exactly divisible by 9, then the least value of (A + B) is

A. 0

B. 1

C. 2

D. 10

Answer :

We know that if sum of digits of a number is divisible by 9, then the number is divisible by 9.

Here,

1 + A + 2 + B + 5 = multiple of 9

A + B + 8 = 0, 9, 18, ….

Hence,

A + B + 8 = 9

A + B =1
