Q. 34.4( 10 Votes )

# Find the square o

Answer :

Using the identity (a + b)2 = a2 + b2 + 2ab

Here, 722 = (1465 + 3)2

= 14652 + 32 + 2×1465×3 ..(i)

Since 1465 terminates with 5,

14652 146 × (146 + 1)

= 146 × 147

= 21462

14652 = 2146225

Substituting 14652 in equation (i)

= 14652 + 32 + 2×1465×3

= 2146225 + 9 + 8790

= 2155024
