# Find the squares

Answer :

Using the identity (a + b)^{2} = a^{2} + b^{2} + 2ab

Here, 31^{2} = (30 + 1)^{2}

= 30^{2} + 1^{2} + 2×30×1

= 900 + 1 + 60

= 961
