# Find the sum of the first 15 multiples of 8

Answer :

As we have to calculate sum of first 15 multiples of 8, series will look like:

8, 16, 24, ...........up to 15 terms

Given: First term, a = 8,Common Difference, d = 8 and nth term, n = 15

Sum of first 15 multiples of 8 can be calculated as:

Sum of n terms of an A.P is given by:Applying the values from above

= 15 (8 + 56)

= 15 x 64

= 960
