Measures (in degrees) of two complementary angles are two consecutive even integers. Find the angles.
Answer :
Let one angle be x other angle x + 20
Since the two angles are complementary their sum is 900
x + x + 2 = 900
⇒ 2x = 880
⇒ x = 440
The two angles are 440 and 460
