Given:
side of container (a) = 3.5cm
Area of cubical box to be painted both sides = 12a2
= 12(3.5)2
⇒ Area of cubical box to be painted both sides = 147m2
total cost of painting it at the rate of Rs75 per square meter
then total cost of painting painted box = 147 × 75 = Rs11025
