# 10x – 5 – 7x = 5x + 15 – 8

Answer :

Given equation is,

⇒ 10x-5-7x = 5x + 15-8

⇒ 3x-5 = 5x + 7

⇒ 3x-5x = 7 + 5 (transposing 5x to LHS and 5 to RHS)

⇒ -2x = 12

⇒ Hence value of x is -6.
