# Solve the following question.

8x – 7 – 3x = 6x – 2x – 3

Answer :

Given equation is,

⇒ 8x-7-3x = 6x-2x-3

⇒ 5x-7 = 4x-3

⇒ 5x-4x = -3 + 7 (transposing – 7 to RHS and 4x to LHS)

⇒ x = 4

⇒ Hence value of x is 4.
