Answer :

Let the age of woman and her daughter be x and y years respectively.


According to Question -


x = 3y + 3.....(1)


and,


x + 3 = 10 + 2(y + 3)


x - 2y = 13.....(2)


Substitute equation (1) into equation (2), we get -


y = 10


Substituting the value of y in equation (2), we get


x = 33


Thus, the age of woman = 33 years


and, the age of her daughter = 10 years.
