# Solve the following systems of equations:

Answer :

⇒ 2x + 4y = 3 …(i)

⇒ 4x + 2y = 3 …(ii)

Multiplying eq2 by 2 and subtracting from eq1

2x + 4y – 8x – 4y = 3 – 6

⇒ -6x = - 3

⇒ x = 1/2

Thus, 2 × 1/2 + 4y = 3 ⇒ y = 1/2
