Q. 3 H5.0( 2 Votes )

Verify whether th

Answer :

After substituting the value for variable in the polynomial if we get 0 then that value is called zero of the polynomial.

It means that if p(x) = 0, then x will be called as the zero of the polynomial.

p(x) = 3x + 2; x = -2/3

substituting in 3x + 2

p() = 3() + 2

p() = -2 + 2

p() = 0

Yes is zero of polynomial p(x) = 3x + 2
