Q. 2 B5.0( 1 Vote )

For each polynomi

Answer :

p(2) means substitute value 2 in the polynomial in place of variable

p(1) means substitute value 1 in the polynomial in place of variable

p(0) means substitute value 0 in the polynomial in place of variable

p(y) = (y + 1) (y-1)

the variable is y substitute it with values 2, 1 and 0 to find p(2), p(1) and p(0) respectively

p(2)

p(2) = (2 + 1)(2 – 1)

p(2) = (3)(1)

p(2) = 3

p(1)

p(1) = (1 + 1)(1 – 1)

p(1) = (2)(0)

p(1) = 0

p(0)

p(0) = (0 + 1)(0 – 1)

p(0) = (1)(-1)

p(0) = -1
