Q. 2 A5.0( 3 Votes )

For each polynomi

Answer :

p(2) means substitute value 2 in the polynomial in place of variable

p(1) means substitute value 1 in the polynomial in place of variable

p(0) means substitute value 0 in the polynomial in place of variable

p(x) = x2 – x + 1

the variable is x substitute it with values 2, 1 and 0 to find p(2), p(1) and p(0) respectively

p(2)

p(2) = (2)2 – 2 + 1

p(2) = 4 – 2 + 1

p(2) = 2 + 1

p(2) = 3

p(1)

p(1) = (1)2 – 1 + 1

p(1) = 1 – 1 + 1

p(1) = 1

p(0)

p(0) = (0)2 – 0 + 1

p(0) = 1
