Substitute the given values of x in 2x^{3} – 13x^{2} + 17x + 12 to find value of polynomial

x = 2

put x = 2 in 2x^{3} – 13x^{2} + 17x + 12

⇒ 2(2)^{3} – 13(2)^{2} + 17(2) + 12

⇒ 2(8) – 13(4) + 34 + 12

⇒ 16 – 52 + 46

⇒ 16 – 6

⇒ 10

Hence value of 2x^{3} – 13x^{2} + 17x + 12 at x = 2 is 10
