Given,

∠1 = ∠3, ∠3 = ∠4 … (i)

And ∠2 = ∠4 … (ii)

__By Euclid’s axiom 1,__

__We know that things which are equal to the same things are equal to one another.__

∴ From equation (i), ∠1 = ∠4 … (iii)

Then, from equations (ii) and (iii) and by axiom 1,

⇒ ∠1 = ∠2
