If in two circles

Answer :

Given: Two circles with arcs of the same length and subtend angles 60° and 75° at the centre respectively.

Diagram:

Let L be the length of the arcs..

Let r1 be the radius of the first circle and let r2 be the radius of the second circle.

We know the formula that,

where, θ = angles subtended at centre,
l = length of the arc, and
r = radius of the circle

Now for Circle with centre O,

And Circle with Centre O',

Now taking the ratio of angles we get,

Therefore, we have,

Hence,

r1: r2 = 5:4
