y = 3

Now at y = 0,

3 x + 4 x 0 = 12
3 x = 12
x = 4



So we have two points for the equation 3 x + 4 y - 12 = 0 and those are (0, 3) and (4, 0)


6 x + 8 y - 48 = 0

Now let us find points for this equation

at x = 0,

6 x 0 + 8 y = 48
8 y = 48
y = 6

at y = 0,

6 x + 8 x 0 = 48
