Formula used: (i) (uv)′ = u′v + uv′ (Leibnitz or product rule)

(ii) (iii) Let us take u = ex and v = cotx  Putting the above obtained values in the formula:-

(uv)′ = u′v + uv′

(ex cotx)’ = ex× cotx + ex× -cosec2x

= excotx - excosec2x

= ex (cotx - cosec2x)

Ans) ex (cotx - cosec2x)
