Solve the following differential equations :

Answer :

Formula:-

(i)∫[f(x) + f’(x)]exdx = f(x)ex + c

(ii) If a differential equation is ,

then y(I.F) = ∫Q.(I.F)dx + c, where I.F = e∫Pdx

(iii) ∫dx = x + c

Given:

This is a linear differential equation, comparing it with

I.F = e∫Pdx

= e–log|x|

Solution of the equation is given by

y(I.F) = ∫Q.(I.F)dx + c

using formula(v)

y = ex + cx
