# The slant height of a cone is 10 cm and the radius of its base is 7 cm. What is its curved surface area?

We have

Given: slant height of the cone, l = 10 cm

Radius of the base of the cone, r = 7 cm

We need to find curved surface area of this cone.

Curved surface area of the cone is given by

CSA = πrl

Substituting the given values in the above equation,

CSA = 22/7 × 7 × 10

CSA = (22 × 7 × 10)/7

CSA = 220

Thus, curved surface area of cone is 220 cm2.
