# The radius and the height of a rightr circular cone are in the ratio 5 : 12. If its volume is 314 cubic metre, find the slant height and the radius (Use π =3.14).

Answer :

We have,

Let radius of cone *r*=5*x*

Let height *h* = 12*x*

∴ Volume = 314 m^{3}

=×3.14×(5x)^{2}×12*x* =314

= *x*^{3}= 1 = *x* = 1

∴*r* =5 and *h* = 12

Now, slant height *l =**= l* = = 13 m
