Find the capacity
Answer :
i) we have,
radius of cone =7cm
slant height =25 cm
vertical height of cone h = √(252 – 72) = √576 = 24 cm
hence capacity (volume) of cone = 1/3×22/7×49×24 = 1232 cm3
ii) we have,
height = 12 cm
slant height =13 cm
radius of cone r = √(132-122) = √25 = 5 cm
volume of conical vessel = 1/3×22/7×5×5×12 = 2200/7 = 314.28 cm3
