If one zeros of the quadratic polynomial kx2 + 3x + k is 2 then find the value of k.

Answer :

It is given in the question that,

One of the zero of the polynomial kx2 + 3x + k is 2

It will satisfy the above polynomial

Now, we have

k (2)2 + 3 (2) + k = 0

4k + 6 + k = 0

5k + 6 = 0

5k = - 6

k = -6/5
