Q. 1 C4.3( 14 Votes )

# Use suitable identities to find the following products

(3x + 2)(3x - 2)

Answer :

using the identity (a + b) × (a – b) = a^{2} – b^{2}

here a = 3x and b = 2

⇒ (3x + 2)(3x - 2) = (3x)^{2} – 2^{2}

Therefore (3x + 2)(3x - 2) = 9x^{2} – 4
