# Find the product:

Answer :

First solving (x – 3)(x + 3)

Using the identity (a +b) (a–b) = a^{2} – b^{2}

Here a = x and b = 3

= x^{2} –3^{2}

= x^{2} – 9

Now (x^{2} – 9) (x^{2} + 9)

Again, using the identity (a +b) (a–b) = a^{2} – b^{2}

Here a = x^{2} and b = 9

= (x^{2})^{2} – 9^{2}

= x^{4} –81 ( ∵ (a^{x})^{m} = a^{xm})
