# If the geometric

Answer :

Given:For 1^{st} G.P-

a_{1} = 162 and a_{2} = 54,

And for 2^{nd} G.P-

.

R = 3

∵ a_{n} = a_{1}r^{n-1} (n = no. of term, a_{1} = first term of G.P, r = common ratio)

And ∵ nth term of both G.P are equal,

⇒ a_{n} = A_{n.}

⇒ a_{1}r^{n-1} = A_{1}R^{n-1}

⇒ n-1 = 4

⇒ n = 5.
