Answer :
p(x) = x3 – 3x2– x + 3, g(x) = x2 – 4x + 3
Dividend = x3 – 3x2– x + 3
Divisor = x2 – 4x + 3
Here, dividend and divisor both are in the standard form.
Now, on dividing p(x) by g(x) we get the following division process we get,
q(x)= x + 1
r(x) = 0
