# Find the HCF and LCM of the following integers by applying the prime factorization method.8, 9 and 25

The numbers can be expressed as follows:

8 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 1

9 = 3 × 3 × 1

25 = 5 × 5 × 1

So for finding the HCF we may write as follows: So HCF = 1

For finding the LCM we may write as follows: So LCM = 23 × 32 × 52 × 1

= 1800
