# Find the zeroes of the following quadratic polynomials and verify the relationship between the zeroes and the coefficients:

2x^{2} – 7x

Answer :

Let f(x) = 2 x^{2} – 7x

In this the constant term is zero.

f(x) = 2 x^{2} – 7x

= x(2x – 7)

On putting f(x) = 0 , we get

x(2x – 7) = 0

⇒ 2x – 7 = 0 or x = 0

or x = 0

Thus, the zeroes of the given polynomial 2x^{2} – 7x are 0 and

__Verification__

Sum of zeroes **or**

Product of zeroes **or**

So, the relationship between the zeroes and the coefficients is verified.
