# The Volume of a h

Let the radius of hemisphere be r cm

Volume of hemisphere is given by πr3

Given, volume of hemisphere = 24251/2 cm3

π r3 = 24251/2

r3 = 4851 × 1/2 × 3/2 × 7/22

r3 = 1157.625 cm3

r = (1157.625)1/3 cm

r = 10.5 cm

Curved Surface Area of hemisphere = 2πr2

Curved Surface Area of hemisphere = 2 × 22/7 × (10.5)2 cm2

= 693 cm2

Curved surface area of hemisphere = 693 cm2
