# From a group of 15 cricket players, a team of 11 players is to be chosen. In how many ways can this be done?

Given that we need to choose 11 players for a team out of available 15 players,

It is similar to choosing ‘r’ combinations out of ‘n’ items.

i.e., nCr ways.

Let us assume the choosing the no. of ways be N,

N = choosing 11 players out of 15 players

N = 15C11

We know that

And also n! = (n)(n – 1)(n – 2)…………2.1

N = 1365 ways

The total no. of ways of choosing 11 players out of 15 is 1365 ways.
