# In a square ABCD, AB = (2x + 3) cm and BC = (3x - 5) cm. Then, the value of x is

A. 4

B. 5

D. 8

Answer :

In square all sides are equal.

So, AB = BC

2x + 3 = 3x -5

3x -2x = 5 + 3

X = 8.
