# A cylinder, whose height is two-thirds of its diameter, has the same volume as a sphere of radius 4 cm. Calculate the radius of the base of the cylinder.

Let height of a cylinder = h

and diameter = d

According to question,

Given: Radius of Sphere, R = 4cm

Volume of Cylinder = Volume of Sphere (Given)

r3 = R3

r3 = 43

r = 4cm

Hence, Radius of base of the cylinder is 4cm.
