Now, the mean of the deviation can be calculated as follows:

d_{i} = x_{i} - a

a = assumed mean of the data

= 0.1875

Mean can be calculated as follows:

where, a = assumed mean of the data= 0.1875 + 57

Mean = 57.1875

≈ 57.19**Hence, the mean of the given data is 57.19.**
