# A right triangle

Answer :

When right-angled ΔABC is revolved about its side 12 cm then a cone is formed having

Height (h) = 12 cm

Radius (r) = 5 cm

Slant height (l) = 13 cm Volume = r2h

= × × 5 × 5 × 12

= 25 × 4 Π cm3

= 100 Π cm3
Now Π = 3.14
So 100 π = 3.14 x 100 = 314 cm3
Hence Volume of the figure = 314 cm3
