Answer :

Slope of the line that is parallel to y-axis is infinity.

Eq of the line parallel to y-axis passing through (a, b) is x – a = 0

(i) (4, 0)

⇒ x – 4 = 0

(ii) (-2, 0)

⇒ x + 2 = 0

(iii) (3, 5)

⇒ x – 3 = 0

(iv) (-4, - 3)

⇒ x + 4 = 0
