Q. 11 H4.5( 2 Votes )

# Select a proper o

Answer :

r be the radius of the circle

Area of the circle = πr^{2}

10% increase in radius = 1.1r

Area of circle with new radius = π(1.1r)^{2}

= 1.21πr^{2}

increase in area = 1.21πr^{2} - πr^{2}

= 0.21 πr^{2}

∴ 21% increase in the area of circle

So, option(c) is the correct answer.
