# The cost of ball

Answer :

Let the cost of one fountain pen be Rs. ‘x’ and the cost of one ball pen is Rs. ‘y’

Given, cost of ball pen is Rs. 5 less than half of the cost of fountain pen.

⇒ y = () – 5

⇒ 2y = x – 10

⇒ x – 2y – 10 = 0
