Shabana bought 16 dozen ball bens and sold them at a loss equal to S.P. of 8 ball pens. Find
(i) her loss percent
(ii) S.P. of 1 dozen ball pens, if she purchased these 16 dozen ball pens for Rs 576.
Answer :
She bought 16 dozen ball pen
Loss for 16 dozen pen = SP of 8 ball pen
Let CP of each pen = Rs. X
CP of 16 dozen ball pen = 16×12× x
= loss = 8SP
= 16×12× x = 16×12× SP = 8SP
= 16×12× x = 200 SP
