Fill in the blanks to make the statements true.

A four-digit number abcd is divisible by 11, if d + b = …………… or …………….. .

Answer :

From the divisibility by 11 rule, if abcd is divisible by 11,

Then a-b + c-d = 0,

gives a + c = b + d, or each should be 0.

It also follows that a + c or b + d should be divisible by 11.
