# Rainfall recorded on a certain day was 5 cm. Find the volume of water that fell on a 2-hectare field.

Answer :

Since 1 hectare = 10000 m^{2}

Area of field = 2 hectare = 20000 m^{2}

Recorded rainfall = 5 cm = 0.05m

**Volume** **of water fell = area of field × recorded rainfall**

= 20000 × 0.05

= 1000

So, volume of water that fell is 1000m^{3}
