Factorise the following expressions
3a2bc + 6ab2c + 9abc2
Answer :
In the given expression
Check the common factors for all terms;
⇒ [3 × a × a × b × c + 2 × 3 × a × b × b × c + 3 × 3 × a × b × c × c]
⇒ 3 × a × b × c[a + 2 × b + 3 × c]
⇒ 3abc[a + 2b + 3c]
∴ 3a2bc + 6ab2c + 9abc2 = 3abc[a + 2b + 3c]
