Let the base be 'k'

Altitude = 2k

⇒ 2k^{2} = 392

⇒ k^{2} = 196

⇒ k = √196

⇒ k = 14m.

∴ The base of the parallelogram is 14m.

The altitude of the parallelogram is 2k = = 28m.
