# State whether the given statements are True or False.

4^{2} is greater than 2^{4}.

Answer :

We know that 4^{2} = 4 × 4

= 16

We also know that 2^{4} = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2

= 4 × 4

= 16

So 4^{2} is not greater than 2^{4} rather they are equal.

So the statement is false.
